G) Church of Saint Ann
This is the oldest church in town,
built in the 13th century.
It is situated on a rocky slope called Morgione.


The original church was destroyed in 1688 by an earthquake and later rebuilt. Here Padre Pio was baptized on May 26, 1887 and named Francesco.
He was confirmed there on September 27, 1899.
