I) Michele's house
This house has three rooms above the mother’s house.
Padre Pio's brother, Michele, lived here for a long time.
Padre Pio himself lived here as priest from 1912 to 1916.
During these years he prayed, studied and wrote letters
filled with spiritual teachings.
It was here too that
Padre Pio experienced both heavenly visions and temptations by the devil.

In later years, from 1941 to 1943, this house was the home of
Mary Pyle, a wealthy american benefactor.
